UK web host Sub 6 Ltd. (Sub 6) has relocated to Bamber Bridge, a village three miles south-east of Preston in Lancashire. Established in 2002, the company provides a range of managed web hosting services and prides itself on a “solid reputation for high levels of service and extreme customer support”. Operating under the ‘Clook Internet’ brand, Sub 6 offers shared, reseller, cloud and dedicated hosting options. It also specialises in optimised WordPress and Magento hosting plans.Sub 6 caters for a wide range of customers, particularly individuals and smaller businesses, but it also offers more sophisticated solutions to larger organisations. Prior to its recent move the company was located in Much Hoole, another Lancashire village in South Ribble. The move is designed to enable the company to house a 50% expansion on its 2016 workforce, which was necessary to accommodate increased demand for its services. The company is already planning further expansion in the future.
“2016 was a really big year for us with key appointments made to the Sales team and behind the scenes in technical roles,” explained Sub 6’s Office Manager, Jamie Hoyles. “We have put a lot of focus into the functionality of our services over the previous 12 months and both our clients and ourselves are reaping the benefits. The end user is getting a great product and we’re seeing more and more word of mouth signups”. He added, “The new office provides us with space to grow further and the comments from staff on the new location have been very positive”.
