Ocean Telecom has announced it is venturing into web hosting. The company's new business is called Certa Hosting and it specializes in web and email hosting. Located in Oswestry in Shropshire, Certa Hosting’s premises are located at Ocean Telecom’s office at the Mile Oak Industrial Estate in Oswestry. Certa Hosting has taken over all of Ocean Telecom’s hosting activity and is now focusing on finding additional business customers. It’s hosting services feature reseller hosting, cloud servers and email hosting. The company also offers a number of Open Source (OS) Content Management System (CMS) solutions such as WordPress, Magento, Drupal, and Joomla, and ecommerce solutions like PrestaShop and OpenCart. Plans include hosting for only one site or for multiple sites and feature unlimited bandwidth and daily backups. Additionally, website migrations to Certa Hosting’s servers are provided free of charge.
“Certa is a web hosting platform that truly understands the needs of business,” explained company head Jeremy Rose in an article published on oswestry.life. “Our hosting also prevents businesses losing money by having a slow or unresponsive website. We know visitors to a website expect fast loading times and are unlikely to return to a site if they have trouble with its performance. “We are responsible for hosting websites and email for some of the largest companies in the area, and we’re excited to launch a proven product that will benefit other businesses.”
