IT Management Platform Company Continuum Announces New London Data Centre
5 September 2016
IT management platform company Continuum has announced it will extend its international offerings through a new 2N redundant data centre in London. Continuum, which has global headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, United States, and European headquarters in Bracknell, United Kingdom, is a “channel-exclusive” provider that enables its Managed Services Provider (MSP) partners to “maintain both on premise and cloud-based servers, desktops, mobile devices and other endpoints” for their customers.
Continuum offers a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that allows its partners to backup, monitor, troubleshoot and maintain their customers’ IT infrastructure from “a single pane of glass”. With a staff of 1,300 people the company monitors 1 million endpoints for around 5,800 partners. By leveraging a London-based data centre Continuum will extend the availability of its Continuity247 fully-managed backup and disaster recovery platform to IT service providers in Europe.
The new facility underscores Continuum’s commitment to its MSP partners in Europe. The new centre will also enable Continuum to “extend the benefits of its fully-managed BDR offering outside of North America for the first time”.
“Extending our local presence in and enhancing our support of international markets is an ongoing commitment for Continuum,” explained Continuum’s Senior Vice President of Engineering, John Mandel. “With this new data centre, we are taking a significant step forward in our promise to enhance our support for our partners in the United Kingdom and Europe by bringing Continuity247 to them.”
