Enterprise Platform Provider Appian Announces Expansion of Services in the United Kingdom

Enterprise platform provider Appian has announced the expansion of its services in the United Kingdom. Appian, which has global headquarters in Reston, Virginia, United States, offers businesses a “low-code approach” that reduces the time taken to deploy applications in the cloud or on their premises. Its services in the UK include local data hosting.
Appian offers a secure cloud environment that will enable its British customers to build, deploy and scale business applications quickly and efficiently. The ‘Appian Cloud’ offers companies a range of benefits including “low start up costs, fast deployment, predictable cost structures and rapid return-on-investment”. HIPAA, SOC 2 and SOC 3 and PCI Data Security Standard accredited, and also in the G-Cloud 8 Framework, Appian caters to a range of industries including financial services, insurance, and health care companies. Its UK customers include department store company John Lewis, medical insurance company Bupa, and Hansard Global plc. Appian’s expansion within the UK means Appian Cloudnow has 23 availability zones globally.
