Communications Technology Provider Gradwell and Email Security Company SpamExperts Form Partnership

11 May 2016

Communications technology provider Gradwell and email security company SpamExperts have formed a partnership. Gradwell, which has headquarters in Bath, United Kingdom, was established in 1998. Its services are “used by over 22,000 small companies every single day” and the company offers a wide range of services including collaboration solutions like Microsoft Office 365 and Exchange Online.

Gradwell’s offerings extend to cloud-based web hosting solutions and are complemented by SSL certificate options and a cloud backup and recovery service. The company also offers domain hosting with an emphasis on ‘UK’ domains – including ‘.uk’, ‘.co.uk’, ‘.me.uk’, ‘.org.uk’ and ‘.london’ domains. It turned to SpamExperts when its previous email security solution proved ineffective at managing spam.

SpamExperts, which has headquarters in Amsterdam, Netherlands, provides inbound and outbound email filtering services to shared web hosts, ISPs and telecommunication companies. The company manages an extensive network of resellers and distributors and its services are complemented by email archiving options. SpamExperts solutions can be run on customers' virtual hardware-based clouds or its own "Hosted Cloud".

Gradwell acquired a subscription for SpamExperts’ services that covers 5,000 domains. Whereas previously Gradwell was having to “constantly assign resources” to address its spam issues, since adopting SpamExperts’ solutions the company has been able to save time and money by focusing on core competencies.

“It allowed us to retire legacy solutions and provided us a scalable configurable model which can grow with our cloud customers,” explained the Product Manager at Gradwell, Nicholas Fox. “Sales and Support teams were available to answer queries and also help with planning migration to the cloud platform. We’ve enjoyed an excellent relationship with the support staff on technical matters around the integration with existing Odin configuration,” he added.
