Cloud solution provider Extrinsica Global has been recognised as a top cloud company by cloud giant Microsoft. Extrinsica Global, which has headquarters in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom, provides cloud-based solutions to a global customer base. The company specialises in offering IT-as-a-Service (ITaaS) options and bills itself as “transforming the way businesses consume IT through financial efficiency, work force mobility and improved business processes”. The company was recognised as a 2016 Microsoft Worldwide Hosting Partner of the Year Award finalist. This is the second year in a row the company has been recognised in this way. The award considered 2,500 companies and Extrinsica Global was noted for its innovation and “implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology”. It was mainly recognised for its efforts with Coventry, United Kingdom-based customer Key Forensic Services Ltd (KFS). KFS provides forensic support for criminal investigations in the United Kingdom and Extrinsica Global established a “next-generation” ‘Cloud Lab’ which offered KFS applications and data access as an “end-to-end fully managed service”.
Extrinsica Global was recognised by Microsoft as being one of the top four cloud companies in the world. They received their award at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference currently being held (July 10 – 14, 2016) in Toronto, Canada. The company was also featured in a video that Scott Guthrie (the Executive Vice President of Microsoft’s Cloud and Enterprise Group) used in his keynote speech at the conference. The video provided details of the services Extrinsica Global provided for KFS.
