Small Business Technology Provider Cloudweb to Buy Cloud Hosting Company ZangIT Hosting

24 February 2016

Small business technology provider Cloudweb, Inc. (Cloudweb) has announced its intention to buy cloud hosting company ZangIT Hosting. Cloudweb, which has headquarters in Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire, United Kingdom, offers a range of services including cloud-based products, web design and domain registration. Financial aspects of the deal have not been released, although it was reported Cloudweb will acquire 100% of ZangIT Hosting’s Australian assets.

ZangIT Hosting has headquarters in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The company operates one of Australia’s largest data centers and offers Windows and Linux shared hosting, cloud hosting solutions, Virtual Dedicated Servers, enterprise email options, and domain registration. It caters to companies and organizations of a range of sizes, including the Queensland Government Association.

"We are pleased to have entered into a contract to acquire ZangIT Hosting, as we are looking to penetrate new markets outside the US that offer high growth prospects, explained Cloudweb, Inc.’s CEO Zhi De Liao. “Australia is a natural next step for us as it is a highly developed, English-speaking country. Our aim is to grow Cloudweb, Inc. both through further acquisitions of additional suitable Cloud hosting companies such as ZangIT, as well as organically by expanding our own customer database and tapping into additional markets, such as launching our cloud services in China as soon as possible."
