Global Cloud Services Platform Provider Interoute Renews and Extends Ford France Contract

4 November 2016

Global cloud services platform provider Interoute has renewed and extended a major contract with Ford Motor Company’s French arm, Ford France. Interoute, which has headquarters in London, United Kingdom, has a global presence with offices in over 20 countries. The company owns the largest network in Europe, bringing together “15 data centres, 17 virtual data centres and 33 colocation centres”. It also connects to 195 additional third-party data centres across Europe.

Ford France was originally an Easynet customer but has remained with Interoute since its purchase of Easynet in 2015. Ford France has contracted the company’s services for an additional three years. Interoute will provide technical support for Ford France’s websites, which are visited by “hundreds of thousands of visitors” during marketing campaigns. Its decision to continue with Interoute’s services was based on its “broad security certified standards” (including ISO27000) alongside a “readiness to listen” and give “high quality advice”.

"We are pleased and proud that Ford has renewed its trust in our long term partnership,” explained the CTO of Interoute, Matthew Finnie. “Complementing the needs of our clients, understanding their business and their competitive environment, is what sets Interoute apart. This is based on our infrastructure and proven robust architectures, as well as our ability to adapt and constantly change. We support our customers in their development and furthering the sustainability of their competitive edge."
