Cloud Services Platform Provider Interoute Named at UK Cloud Awards

Cloud services platform provider Interoute has been named in ‘Best Cloud Service Provider’ at the ‘UK Cloud Awards’. Interoute, which has headquarters in Canary Wharf London, United Kingdom, is recognised as offering one of Europe's largest networks with “12 data centres, 14 virtual data centres and 31 colocation centres” and “connections to 195 additional third-party data centres across Europe”. Its services extend to cloud and managed hosting alongside colocation, Internet, data, voice and other Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offerings. The award was made at Skylon, London, during a ceremony that took place on 12 April 2016.
The UK Cloud Awards are designed to “showcase the leading vendors, customers and individuals who are setting the benchmark in the UK and beyond”. The awards are judged by a panel of industry experts who recognise “products, services, projects and personalities” that have offered “innovation, entrepreneurialism and technical excellence” in the UK’s cloud arena. This is the third year of the awards and others shortlisted in Interoute’s category included Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Claranet, and iCloudHosting. Interoute was recognised for its “clarity of vision, approach and design of its cloud infrastructure platform”.
